Journals for payroll

Do i need to enter separate journal for every individual salary/payroll, or i can do it for every individuals salary in a single journal. Thanks

    If you are using the payroll function to process company payroll, you will have to process them on an individual basis; however, if you record all wages and salary info on separate excel spreadsheet and only process general journal in the system, you can process them all in one general journal. Please note that you do have to specify the cost centres for each payment amount.
